I stopped counting my age at my 26th birthday and I don't know why. Ever since, every time people asked me how old I was, I need to count the current year minus 1979 and that would be my current age. Maybe it because most people, included me, think that getting married is totally a new life and it is like you are back to zero again. Yes, I got married at the age of 25 maybe that is why I count in differently ever since.
But today is different. When I woke up in the morning, I knew I was 32 and I felt so ... content.
I felt alive and this is my new life. Today, I was spoiled by people around and I love them so much. "So, how old are you now?" someone asked. I answered him firmly "32 and loving it so far."
That is why I made this blog, as an ode to my thirtieth journey circling the sun and as a reminder to myself of the new days ahead of me.
Cheers!
:)
PS: Blacksouls, thank you for the lilies, the cake, and the love you have been giving me.
